i’d like some suggestions or help on how to improve it/ model it and texture it.

Are you using the mirror modifier? I ask because it looks like you are getting some irregularities across the mesh. It would help to see a wire frame.
It looks like your work is foocused on the side view, and needing to blend across to the front view - are you using a front and side view for your references?
I can’t offer too much in the way of technique since I haven’t done a car yet, but it is looking like a car, so that’s a good thing.
