Wire materials and shadows


Im modeling a tennis net and I can`t figure a way to make it project it shadow into ground.
I made a plane, subdivide it and gave it a wire aspect in render pipeline cheking the wire button.

Is there a way to do it?



System wires or whatever you call that are zero-extant lines that are not traceable AFAIK.

To get around it, use the mesh script “solid wireframe”, which will build a mesh out of little rectangular or cylindrical ‘pipes’ based on the connections in your wireframe, which will actually take up space and cast shadows.
