A cartoon stylized isometric room depicting a Witch’s Chamber. Created in Blender version 5 and rendered in Cycles. Many of the shaders and textures were procedural.
It’s lovely, I like it! I’m a beginner and I wonder what are the rectangles we can see in your wireframe render, you know, the ones that show on top of your wood planks (floor, door)?
Thank you! ![]()
The rectangles in the wooden planks of the door is just the topology because the wood plank was subdivided using a subdivision modifier.
Subdivision modifier always makes the object smoother and shapes up the segments.
Oh ok, thanks! It made me think of when I add a PNG image as plane on top of a mesh (to add a printed logo for example), I couldn’t figure out what was added to your wood planks this way. Anyway I like your sense of detail, you put randomness where needed and it really brings life to your drawing.
Thank you again ![]()
Soft but Solid, I really like this contrast, Great job!
