went to freevectormaps.com/world-maps/WRLD-EPS-01-0018?ref=more_region_map
to get a world map that shows the US, canadian and european states.
i will wrap it round a globe.

There are some info at the Info “editor”… you maye switch by using the top left Editor Type icon…
Anyway:
So you converted the Adobe Ilustrator or PostScript or PDF file to SVG before ???
Here i shoe ilustrator file converted using Inkscape imported into blender (and the outermost “frame” hidden):
( There is also a PNG included…)
