Hi, I’m happy to show you my last project.
Plane Jack textures done in Substance P/D, everything else done in Blender.
Hope you like it, C&C always welcome.
The textures on the wood really destroys an in all other aspects good image.
In the tool you have added rust, bumps, aging… and everything that is needed to make a good appearance, but I see nothing on that on the wood. You will need bumps, less contrast on the year rings, less perfect edges on each piece of plank, a small amount of bending on them as well as a plank is never perfectly straight. You could also add some particle woodsticks on them… or why do you else need the wood planer… if they already are absolutely perfect ?
totally agreed…nice compositon… woods needs work
I agree with what has been said, the grain is off. The caps of the boards seem too small of grain compared to the sides. I would love to see your setup for the hand planer though! it is tremendous!
Hi and thanks for comment.
I agree with wooden planks material - less contrast would be better. What I don’t agree is “less perfect edges on each piece of plank”. They are finished Maybe I should name this “Work done”
The wood’s texture is too regular which makes it seems not real:spin:
Nobody can work so perfect. But if you do not want to improve stick with it.
