Meet Webster the Woodwurm.
I’m planning on animating him, living in a door, with people knocking on the door, opening it and some other things. C&C is very welcome. Wires will come, but don’t expect too much from them.

I like your overall idea, but I belive that the eyesockets come out too much. I don’t belive in using eyesockets (see my latest character, a fish named george, he only has eyelids!) other than that I like it!

I like it too,
but instead the black eyes, give him large and soft eyes, and he would be a funny worm, maybe some glasses and it would be a very funny model in whole.
I never like glasses… It also wont add a lot to what I’m trying to create.
I have made some sort of house for him. Imagine this being in a door. The wood material is more difficult to create than I thought. But I’m quite satisfied, except for the “yearrings”. (I have no idea on how you call those in English)
I have also done many tries on modelling some sort of chinese dish, and letting the wurm eat chopsticks. But none were sucessfull.

I’m running into some problem animating.
Is there a way to automate the swinging of the light bulb (the white dot on the wire), to make it react to the movements of the “home”. I’ve thought of softbody’s, but would it work? Or have you got any other ideas? Thanks in advance!
The new face-rig:
(The eyes are controlled with shape keys. I would like to do it with bones because the shape keys don’t work when I fully open the eyes. The eyelids are quite simple, half spheres. Any ideas, or good tutorials? Tutorials on other subjects of rigging are welcome too.)
I’ve made a short sleep animation.
I wanted to post it on youtube, but it seems it can’t handle .movs. I will render an .avi tonight but right now this is the only one I got. Please wath and post C&C, I haven’t recieved a lot lately. Thank you!
