Gpu-z to monitor temp etc… fan speed etc …
Msi afterbuner for custem fan profile or Asus Gpu Tweak for custem fan profile
Render only with GPU because this is normally faster
Or use a extra fan or open your case for better air flow or undervolting
I have tried ASUS GPU Tweak III (not version II) with success. I have set custom fan speed profile, Temperature limit of 75 deg-C and decrease the working voltage bit. Casing is NOT open. But I have to enter the setting every time I run Tweak III. It seems that the custom setting was not stored at all.
What do mean by “press alt + 227 to insert π”? What kind of tricks does it perform?

I’ve always wanted to do something like this, but with cats around chasing wires or wanting to sit on something warm… I thought it was better not 
I am still a bit ashamed of it. It could be better. Version 2 should be better. I am currently building a NAS in the exact same way. Maybe I’ll open a new thread in off-topic section later.
