Not sure if this is off-topic or not… but I guess this technically has to do with the website…
I had joined up way way way back when Kibbles first started this site in his bedroom… called it “Elysiun” The community was so much smaller back then, 12-13 years ago… but no less dedicated and passionate. Seeing how the site has morphed into what it is today - and the support it has given to blender users… well… I must say I’m very impressed - and kudos to all of those over the years who have contributed to it’s success. My only disappointment has been in the fact that I can’t seem to find anything on the “Blender Artists” site that makes mention of it’s origin and those who championed it. I kinda miss those halcyon days of seeing awesome artists pushing the limits of this tool Blender… people like Timothy Kanters, Roel Spruit, Chris Snoeren… But - it’s heartening to see the explosion in talent and users in the many years since then…
