I really don’t understand yafray. Once i’ve installed it is there anything else I need to do to get it to link to blender?

The only thing you should have to do is set the path for Yafray export in the Blender preferences window. For example. in Windows:

YFexport: c:\Program Files\YafRay

Thanks. I think in the tutorial it says it is built in to the latest version.

if you install blender and yafray from installers, the normal version, you shouldn’t have any problem…
