May the 4th be with you! A really quick week end project, reusing the “clay” Yoda I created for my BAM46 piece. This one above is my original concept, with the intentional shadowing for ominous effect.
This second one is an alternate version, done in part because the little feedback I got on a quick test was that I needed a “fill” for the backside – which, in my mind, defeats the intent behind the shadowing of my original concept. Here, the text (using a different color) is “emitting” a fill light.
Personally, I like the first one better, but that’s my opinion.
This is a “test” shot of the light saber. The materials on it are a simple diffuse to differentiate the pieces. I did more of a "true’ material for the final. While this version of the saber isn’t fully detailed, it really didn’t need to be to fit in with the use I had in mind.
