Yesterday we had Tłusty Czwartek or the Thursday you’re supposed to have at least one raised donut to have a great year. That day, 52 days before Easter, Polish people eat the average of 2.63 donuts. And many pig out as the next Tuesday it’s goodbye to festivities. Polish donuts come with many kinds of filling, but the rosehip jam filling is preferred most.
