Story Time
So this is essentially still 2077: Resurrections, but I added a little to it.
After stepping away from the original 2077 project for a few days, I came back and re-watched it, arriving at two conclusions: One, that the last two shots were the main reason things felt so underwhelming, and two, not much happens in the animation, so the whole thing ends up feeling dull and boring. To remedy these problems I tweaked the last two shots and added more to the end of the video to extend the ānarrativeā (if you can even call it that.)
Unfortunately, I almost immediately lost interest in what I was doing. I put some decent shots together, I fiddled around with extra music from The Matrix: Revolutions, and planned a whole fight sceneā¦but I just couldnāt bring myself to do the work. I probably got around a third of the way through the fight scene before I called it quits and stopped forcing myself to grind on. And initially I had no plans to share this Reloaded version of 2077, but I showed it to my cousin and --Iām not kidding-- he said the flight scene was hilarious. I donāt think itās on the same level as @Angilasās Rankin/Bass Gollum Makes Everything Awkward and Stuff, but if it made my cousin laught itāll probably make someone else chuckle as well.
ā¦I just wish comedy was my original intent.
