3D printed Styracosaurus skull

Got around to some photos of the Styracosaurus skull so I’m finally calling this project finished. Not the usual fancy photo-shoot these are taken on my daughter’s iPhone, cleaned up the background a bit for clarity. Trying a steel finish with this one, silver over dark grey acrylic.

By special arrangement, Youtube dinosaur modeller Kayakasaurus featured my 3D printed Styracosaurus skull model as one of the tests for his Elegoo Mars 3D Printer. For such an inexpensive resin printer I think the prints came out pretty well, the video clearly shows the Styracosaurus teeth are individually resolved.

very nice, how long does a normal sized print take to be printed in resin?

I don’t know because it was Kayakasaurus that did the prints, I lent him the 3D model file to test the printer. Normally I sell my scale model dinosaur skulls at my Shapeways shop.
