Photo from drone + render combination

The client project is in the building phase, but they can already show something to clients. This is something many developers need for their sales page. Important aspects include color correction, lighting, and the right angle. What tools do you use to achieve this?

We used a drone shot (we had to wait for spring and the right weather), a building modeled and scaled properly according to blueprints and for greenery Blender Trees and Grasswald

Nice perspective in the first picture, i just don’t like to look directly into the sun, its a bit to distracting, since its the brightest point in the image.

Thank you for your comment I do agree, but on the other hand I personaly like the effect of seeing the sun thru greenery with realistic translucent material, so I use it a lot in this project.

good job i really like the shot with the rabbit, not just for quality as all renders are great but for the feeling with the lounge the cup of coffee it really captures what your life could be living in here

I really like the shots from the ground.
I think they’re at an high level quality.
Great results.

How long did you take to complete this? Are you alone working on this?
How did you do the aerial view? what did you use to make the photomatching?

Thank you very much for such kind words.
There are more people involved.
As it is work for the client it takes longer as there are 2 review rounds.
Depending on the client it can take from 2 weeks up to 2 - 3 months, f.e. it depends if they have a final design of the building or have changes on the 3d model during the process.

As the building was created from blueprints by architects and was created properly it was easier to match. I set up the camera according to the focal length in the properties info of the given photo from the drone, and then I rotated and zoomed the camera in Blender until I hit the exact position.
Hope it helps

Excellent work. Something that makes me want to do this again, plus get a halfway decent drone. Maybe there will be work again in a year or so, so I’ll have a reason to BUY AAAAALL YOUR COLLECTIONS, not just single objects. Your nature assets are highly regarded among the GeoScatter community, and now I see perfectly why you made them so good
