Update**

I am pretty much done with the base model, Just need to add props like sword and belt strap.

I thought it would be funny to make him dance… lol

That’s a nice concept. And the model is great.
He has the cowboy style, I think you already had the idea to make him dance country with a bit of spanish flavour.

Treepeople started…

Hmmm. I hav a question. How is that 8-pole in the middle of his face gonna shape into eyes? Cause it’s all low-poly and I don’t see how you’d get the shape like that. Oh, unless you’re going to extrude it inwards?

The eyes and mouth will all be textured in.

He is pretty much done

I think I hate you for how good and fast of a modeler you are

Looks good! I also like the tree people!

I’m looking forward to this game. You’re making great progress, and I really appreciate you allowing all of us to look in on your work flow. Your process is very structured and productive. It’s inspiring, almost enough to make me get organized…

Just wondering but can you use bump/ displacement maps in game blender/ogre
so could you use zbrush 2 to get more detail onto your objects?

@Stu_Flowers - Thanks man! I take alot of inspiration from Nintendo game design. I have little nephews and if if they like my concepts I use them. They are a good tool for deciding what concepts I will use and what goes in the trash

@blendenzo - I am looking forward to putting this game out too  Thanks! and get organized you have potential man!

@mandoragon - I never used Z-brush…sorry

If you think I have stopped work…DONT, I have dozens of textures to make and hunt down. I appreciate the feedback and I am always open to ideas.

You can do those normal maps and zbrush activities in Blender right now.
Normal Baking and Multi-res sculpting.
Anyone saw the cool preview of the a new particle system… With physics…
check blendernation.com

I can see where you get ideas from now! nintendo games, the crab level reminds me of Super Mario Sunshine!

I am posting some new stuff tonight. I accidently posted here so I edited it… Oops. Not that im trying to bump or anything… It was an accident.

Im glad you did! I lost track of this game. Cant wait to see some new stuff:)

…Still waiting for that new stuff:confused:

Haha. Sorry I just got a new AMD64 system and I was playing with it.
I also run blenderprojects.com that keeps me pretty busy. AZTEC is my main project right now and I think of cool new stuff everyday. I just need to start modeling again. Soon…Very soon.
