Ok, put him on a no tri diet and got the basic shape for the arms done.

is the forearm supposed to be that thin?

heh no, Its just a under mesh. I will move those points and make it shaped the way I want. Thats why they are not tris yet.

I donā€™t know. Why all those triangles? Why not quads?
Itā€™s easier to look at and model with. After all the modelling you can convert them to triā€™s if you want. Thatā€™s very easy.

I think heā€™s done with the part of the model that are tris.

If you look at the arm itā€™s quads and he said heā€™s still working on the shape or something.

Thatā€™s my guess.

There are certain parts that are not quads turned into tris. It may be 3 tris to make a certain area. No way this can be done with quads and converted.

I see it as quads, then I have more power as to what angle I want for my tris. You have to look real close to see them and how they affect the overall look of the model

on the models topography in the last photo, I would suggest another edge loop right in the middle of the elbows.
it looks to me like it is going to collapse right where you want it to bend.

I really think this is going to develop in to a very interesting charictor.
Without even a skin on it, it already is gaining a bit of a personality with me.

After some crits in IRC #gameblender I decided to redo the bow. I spent about 5 min. on the original oneā€¦It sucked lolā€¦
