Baking a normal map from camera's view

How do I bake normal map as a projection from camera’s view?

Here is a original model from camera’s perspective. This is a model with the UV map I want to bake to.image

That’s a highpoly model with added detail (the pipe). I want to bake that detail from cameras perspective to original model. So in-game it would trick you as though an actual pipe is sticking out from the body.


First bake it from high poly to low poly then use the UV project modifier to get uvs created from the camera’s viewpoint. Finally, bake the normal map to those new uvs.
