Bevel harden normals mirror bug

I have problems when using Bevel modifier + harden normals and Mirror modifier. Somehow Mirror modifier messes up the normals.

Nope. Because you are beveling it twice, and when I turn off that second bevel modifier the weighted normal gives improper shading:

What version of a Blender are you using?

I use Blender 3.5.0

Update to 3.5.1, there’s a bug in 3.5.0 in the mirror modifier.

Just noticed: no problem in 3.5.1 maybe error in 3.5.0 ?? Fired it up and yes… wanted to anser… 1 min too late :wink:

Yep, just try to download a newer version. This should help you.

As an another way out, you could try to apple ‘Scale’ to your object by pressing Ctrl+A and choose ‘Scale’.

I also have found this: tap, seems like it’s a bug in fact.
