Man - feel the envy! We all wish we were the one doing this, but then you are also doing it very well. :stuck_out_tongue: My thoughts…
Do you wanna put the Windows toolbar across the bottom? That might put some of us Linux & Mac users’ noses out of joint - go for full screen instead?
It’s a great and original exercise. To work this as a definate gallery piece, you’d probably have to have it as an effective overall scene. Maybe you could have a spilled over cofffee cup on lying on top of it? Don’t overdo it balance wise and the fluid should emphasise the 3D-ness of your lettering & buttons.

i dont think ill put the windows toolbar as i think its not needed there

as for the whole scene i was thinking of having a charecter there the size of the grid trying to push the cube out of the way

somewhat representing a vert pusher in blender
its simple, not to crowded and yet passes a good msg “cg is hard” lol

vitily You sir have some great originality, looks great, so how are you actually madeling some of this, can we see a wire?

sure, ill give u guys a few wire shots lol

gime a sec, any specific areas u want the wire??

haha! this is just wicked!

Jacco;

I’ve been thinking on how the interface would look in 3D and now I know. Pretty nice but I think it would be better if you made the buttons seperate boxes floting around in the air in front of the windows.

the interface floating…? that wouldnt look to great plus thats not how it is in blender…

plus they are saparate from the rest lol

now finished
