So I personally use ACES display device in blender and it’s really useful in this case; you have good options for your view transform and also a big list of sequencers

For example, I made this scene just for test in and showing the difference between ACES & sRGB display devices:

This is the first render that made and I used ACES as display device and sRGB for view transform.

And this one is blender default settings; sRGB as display device and Filmic as view transform

Obviously you can see the difference between these two renders and without any explanations. If you have more questions about how and why should we use ACES in our renders, you can google it easily.

Installed ACES color management to Blender now im confused!

So theres this ACES system which is supposed to be better and more advanced than FILMIC blender. i installed it correctly. But you now have a choice of about 1,000 transformation modes for each texture. I gather than for general textures you have to select Utility Linear sRGB. but its time consuming to select. For HDRIs im not sure what transform to use. And for bump maps and others where i would normally select “non color data” i cant even find an option… I make a scene tried making some PB…
