That image looks very good, more toward what I want. (more red? see below.)
Use the word clashing instead of contrasting.it did confused me earlier
I think the link I placed at the end of my last post explains what I was meaning (still confusing to me though.) It seams there should be a way to have the rendering done with the clashing color there without needing to magic wand every frame. Maybe try a medium high grey for the dark background version, and a lighter grey for the light background version. Any way to get a little more redness to the flame (not to much), that would help with both versions.
Do you still want gif or PNG images?
I think no gifs. Can a .png do the photo realistic animation I need? For size consideration, can the color set be reduced to 32k (I think that should be an option) or something close to it.
Flames have edges. So do you want the image from 4th of march with just the yellow flame or with the brownish and black edges?
Against a dark background the browns and blacks look ok. Those clashing colors (background showing through) will need to be lighter somehow for the lighter background set.
Does the above image looks better (Don’t worry about the edges, this is just an eg.) with dark as well as Bright background to you?
The above image looks great, a little more redness to the flame and I think we’ll have it.
Thank you so much for all your work, It’s looking great.
For size the above image is 300 kb, which i think is small although i can reduce it if you want.
And at last, if the above image satisfies you, i will create two versions of the image, one with no edges for lighter background and one with edges for darker background.will this be OK?
P.S :- i can’t find a way to change the edge color to gray so i am ready to magic wand and clear each frame if you want.
Update 1:- I made a APNG for the first time(Give it some time to load, it is 1.18mb file),the image here is an earlier flame one, turns out it looks awesome. Also tested it with your coin test link. The transparency is on and looks awesome. Download it and test it in your link.
Animated PNG? I did not know it was not a standard. Any other options which are standard in a single file? If not then I’ll need the png file as well as individual files of each frame, full size should scale down to whatever size I need. On second thought, a smaller version rendered might look cleaner and make sure to preserve consistency between the files. BTW, could you make the final size just 10 or so pixels further than the image itself in each direction. Mainly asking since I saw there is a lot of dead space near the sides and top of the image, top due to the reduction in flame height I asked for.
The image looks great. If you can come up with a way to make the flame look even better or more realistic please do so. I trust the animation looks great. Can I see it soon? With the .gifs, I did see a slight stutter when the animation restarted. Any ideas?
As for the edge color, do what needs to be done to look good. Put on a watermark and test them on my site. I created that page just for testing this process.
The only other option is MNG which has no browser support.
I wanted to ask, did you like the apng file?
I started working on this when i made the first apng then i read your reply, sorry it has the same height, only wanted to ask how does this flame look to you? I compared it in your site and now it looks the same in all backgrounds just like you wanted.Try it yourself.
In regards to height, which one seems suitable for you?Select any one and compare it to the original.
One more thing, after so many posts , i basically don’t remember your order.Could you reiterate your order?
So, you want the animation in an apng format and individual png images in size 57x57, 114x114, and 640x960, and 1024x1024.,right?
And regarding the stutter, just like i said earlier, this is an fire simulation so no two frames are going to be perfectly same.So a slightest stutter will remain, still i’ll try to minimize that stutter.
The surface0.7500.png 2nd aboveis a great height for the flame. The image sizes for my order look right. Make the height as needed, but the width/sides can be scaled down where possible to be just off the sides of the coin, 10 pixels or so on each side (and below.) We’re getting near the end. $100 still means that as you get a finished image that you look at it with your experience and play as needed for the best result. I’ll send you an email soon asking for your paypal email address with which I can send you payment. I hope I can get some after tweaks as needed when trying to implement the images in production. Again, thank you, great work.
So wait a minute, you want the four sizes like the above apng flame with the height reduced, right?
I mean, do you like how the flame looks now?
and yeah, you can contact me on email even after the deal for some tips.
I am working on it now, will take some time for the quarter and dime versions.
Yes on the first question. It might be nice to have one (both coins) animated of the higher flame as well in the largest size, if that’s ok. I also need a good single frame in each size. All of this with transparent background, and looking as good as you feel is possible. Yes, I like what you’ve done. Thank you.
I’m confused, does it really count as volunteer work if you’re getting $100 from the dude. It sounds like your getting the money right after the job is done. Don’t sound like how this side of the forum listed it. I’ll be honest, the dude sounds very picky about the whole coin thing but for the money I can understand pickyess.
I’ll get on work right now.
I’ll reply here once the job is done.
but now i reduced the size of the flame.
I cannot get you the earlier flame size one.
I’m sorry if I posted in the wrong area. I’m new to this. Maye $100 (initially $50) was low enough to be considered. What area of the forum should this have been posted?
it’s okay, at first it sounded like volunteer work, but there’s a forum right above this one called paid work. Volunteer work which is this forum right here is for either asking the people here to do your project for free or do it for a deferred payment. In the paid work forum just state that you’d be paying for the job getting done and how did the price end up doubling.
To superutails. He later said he wanted two versions, For dime and quarter. And we had our share of problems in between.:ba:[ I still dunno why there is a smiley for B.A Baracus.]
To davcorn,
the frames are now increased to 33 thus reducing stutter.
They are going to be in 4 sizes 550x1024, 61x114, 516x960, 31x57 ( you gave me the permission to reduced the width, so the width are different than what you ordered.)
Here’s a sample image.

Today i completed the quarter version, by this time, tomorrow i’ll complete the dime version.
I’ll send you my Paypal email by PM (check the notifications tab under the username then inbox).
Pay me till tomorrow by this time, i’ll send you the link as soon as i get the payment by PM.
The 57 and 114 pixel stills nees to be square. They’ll be used for mobile devices. If they are already done then don’t worry I can resize… The attachment in you last post did not work.
Thank you. Payment is coming. Let me know if and what you want shown for the credits when they are added to the website. (main payment for this work by the way)
I will want something like that. That looks great. Are you throwing that in? Probably not after I explain what I want it to look like. I want monolithic 3d letters like you have in your sample. Now imagine a camp fire. The point of view / perspective of the word would be from across the campfire. See the following example:
I want the letters to curve around the coin so the C and e (first and last letters) have their lower part about across from the middle of the coin. (That may be too far, work with it.) If the flame of the coin can be a contributing light source on the letters that would be fantastic, not the main light source, I just want it a slight but noticeable effect. The font of ‘CoinFire’ needs to be modern and progressive, similar to what I have above. The spelling is CoinFire with no space, and C & F capitalized. The depth of the letters should be about 1/3 of what you have in your example. The ground and background should be transparent with no shadows around them, only such on the letters from the glow effect. I hope all of that makes sense.
This would probably be more than can just be thrown in for your efforts. For now (what you might be able to throw into the current deal,) I would like the lettering as described above without glow effects, and without the flaming coin. Something I can use for the site prototype. Give me some examples of colors and textures that you think are cool. I am very fond of purple, but I know that is not the easiest color to work with on the web, if you can do something with purple which looks powerful and progressive let me see it.
The full described desires above will be something I will want in the future (probably near future.) Let me know what that would cost, It would need to be a larger format animated png.
Post a thread on the paid work or email me if you want the glowing effects version in the future.
Just a question,in the future, do you want the above logo in animated png?
I mean, do you want the coin to be animated with the words?
A word of caution though, large size apng takes 6-7mb which are not suitable for web design.( it’ll take time to load apngs)

The images look great, tested and they are fantastic against almost every background. The CoinFire looks good, any way to get all of the letters curving individually, it looks not like they go to a point in the middle. What I’m asking for I think is a perfect arc. About the font and spacing, a bit thicker font (bolder?), and the letters a little closer together? And a little brighter, and againse a transparent background when rendering the final. Am I asking too much? I will definitely pay for the rendered version with the coin and glow effect on the logo. I am very happy with your work! This looks great! Can you find a font similar to the one I posted March 19th?
