I made a realtime drivable and destroyable car setup for Blender.
Here is an example of use case combined togheter with some real footage.

The crash FX is amazing, great job on that. However, the camera movement is really boring. This could be a whole lot better with more interesting camera movement or keep it stationary just ahead of where the crash happens and have it loosely track the car along with some shaking of the camera to make it seem like someone is holding it.
Yup, I thought about it as well… unfortunatly my original idea was to fake a dashcam, lately realized it didnt work very well.
