Yeah, i am looking at it on my monitor at work now and it looks much darker than my monitor at home which has HDR.

Anyway i gave up on this for now. Never got it to render which isn’t a problem i am used to. Maybe i should just render the table cloth and plate and call it the “Emperors new dessert” :stuck_out_tongue:

That might actually be a bit old indeed. It could still be fine, though. Probably worth checking out the GPU details - maybe it is still compatible and just needs updated drivers. :slight_smile:

With the cake texture not rendering, were you using Helge’s texture? And wondering why it was blurry and mushy and weird?

Nah, would feel like cheating if i used his method right after failing. Still going to learn from it and i might incorporate it later. I was actually going for lamingtons / ystervarkies for my entry which requires the “cake” to be much finer.
