If the winner doesn’t supply a theme before Thursday 22:30 GMT, the organizer will select the theme. In this case, the winner’s theme will be used the next time we are lacking a theme on Thursday 22:30 GMT.
Having selected the theme, the winner will not be eligible to enter that week. They may however still submit an image, but it won’t be included in the voting.
“the superpower of disappointing everyone”
I guess the joke isn’t worth it.
but at least, I got to do my own vegetation pack again.
someday I’ll release it on blendswap just to piss off anyone selling weeds.
Nice job everyone on a fun prompt thats harder than it seems to visualize in one image. One of my votes went to @theawesomegm . What good is levitation if its only a cm or two off the ground? bummer.
One of my votes went to @Millani, and my other one went to @anon12835808 who I think did a great job, as I assume it’s because aliens don’t need superpowers as they have anti-gravity technology; although I might be completely wrong as it’s been a while since they visited
I also used to worry about being last and what not. Instead, I found that these weekend challenges made me strive to be more creative, to find new techniques to use, to add some humour into my images, and to just generally become a better artist. They really gave me a boost when I started using Blender. I love them, and one should always use them as a learning experience. This is a competition that really is all about the “it’s the taking part that counts” saying.
I really need to get doing them again once this job I’m working on is done. They’re so much fun.
