If the winner doesn’t supply a theme before Thursday 22:30 GMT, the organizer will select the theme. In this case, the winner’s theme will be used the next time we are lacking a theme on Thursday 22:30 GMT.

Having selected the theme, the winner will not be eligible to enter that week. They may however still submit an image, but it won’t be included in the voting.

Congrats Wertior, and thanks to the four of you who voted for mine! This week my votes went to dragerx001’s wasteland (fascinating), catblue44’s Fallen Views (keeps drawing my eye), and fcharr’s The Present Becomes the Past (ha!).

Also enjoyed Helge’s Morning Dew (simple beauty), OLG’s Interstellar Deep Space (yep), Karmon’s Lava wastelands… (palpable heat), Alex_Keursten’s Wasted City (like the blender logo on the building), HazelQ’s Binary Sunset (magnificent – I nearly voted for this, but something about the composition messes with me), wesley_vanroose’s The Monolith (love the softness of a rocky scene, but somehow looks like a miniature to me), Wertior’s Wastes of white (cold beauty), Blend_hue’s ABANDONED CITY (like how the low-poly lends itself to the starkness), danchristie25’s BA-WC-916_Wide (a scene so deeply shrouded is difficult to pull off, but I’d say you’ve suceeded), linuus’s DOW (+0.32 %) (evocative), 2Rock’s AI Drone179-Terraform potential-1770/Z9 (lovely, the title gives it punch), Victor2’s Rocks with erosion and drying lake in the sunlight (the lighting’s messing with me on this, I can’t figure out why), Tohron’s Galaxy Rise (beautifully desolate), rigoletto’s Spark of hope (poignant), CharlieDoesBlender’s Watching the World End (appreciation of destruction’s beauty), and j_claytonhansen’s Aerial Recon in the Mudlands (like the simplicity of the style).
