Hm, Suzanne, a flower if iam not mistaken (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Fuchsia) and a cube.

Update: Still not satisfied with the lighting, but thanks for your comments, I think it makes it a little more dinamic. Here’s what the previous version looked like:

Now that’s a seriously bad-ass monkey! :smiley:

Fuchsia is the purple color things turn when you have a missing texture.

I’d rather call that magenta

Nice and quick.
For the lighting i would emit particles not over the full length of the ray, it looks too static. Only the last part or emit from the hit point would be more dynamic.

@rigoletto, @Charles_Weaver, @Xeofrios, et al,

Yep, by “fuchsia” I meant hex FF00FF that Blender uses to indicate a missing texture, although as usual interpretation is up to the participants – fuchsia flowers are definitely on-theme IMHO. I included it because it seems to me that once Blender users get used to it as a warning color it’s less likely to show up in their art, which is a shame 'cause it’s lovely.

As for calling it Fuchsia vs Magenta, Wikipedia has some interesting info on that. I tried to look up how Blender’s documentation refers to it, and can’t find anything.

Thanks for the feedback, I’ll try something :slight_smile:

Thanks @David328057, and welcome to the community, but I’m pretty sure this topic is for contest entries and related matter. If you would like to advertise your services, I would recommend creating a new topic, so you don’t get your posts removed by a moderator. Thank you.

That’s neat how you got that idea to include the color that everyone avoids. (And that sounded like a run-on sentence :laughing:)

Pure, no compositing or post. The blood was a quick mantaflow simulation.

The default cube being deleted. A very simple render, but I am happy with it.

I guess, Schrödinger’s monkey is finally dead. Even without looking into the box. Take that quantum superposition!

That is truly amazing. If I don’t win, I hope you do!

I made it into a campaign poster:

Open(the corkboard texture was a free download, and the text on the poster was done in gimp) Non-competing.
