No other reason but for nostalgia’s sake.
Started with seeing my cat stretch that morning, then saw the Masters of the Universe X Thundercats toy range while shopping, so, why not?
Speaking of toys… A crossover with Mofusand would be too cute. 
All 3D done in Blender 5.2 from scratch, image editing in Affinity.
One worthy mention, I spent an absurd amount of time R&Ding the ball of yarn, mostly on how to get good UVs for long strands - this was the best I could do.
