My interpretation of 謝遜 (Xie Xun) from the classic Wuxia novel The Heaven Sword and Dragon Saber.

IMHO, the impact of Jin Rong’s novels on modern Chinese literature is on par with Tolkien’s influence on English fantasy. And this particular character is probably on the same level of Gollum, where anyone who read the novel would have formed a picture of him just from the description.

Made in Blender 3.2, it would be interesting to revisit the hair/fur using the new 3.3 hair system.
