I was going to ask if you were compositing a Cycles Render for shading with a Blender Internal Render for the Cel Shading outlines. Your results speak for themselves. This is a very well loved project. Well done!

Damn, I have never seen anything like this in even modern anime, 5 centimeters per second (Japanese film) is the only thing I can even think of to compare this to. Great raytracing effects and a working toon shader working in harmony. Very glad this got bumped, otherwise, I would never have seen it.

I’d love to use a similar post effect for a future scene involving a Poke’ Mart. Better get to experimenting. :stuck_out_tongue:

Looks like Photoshopped OpenGL Viewport renders. Just wondering why did you choose Cycles for those very simple materials.
