Oh, thank you, and for me as well! I discovered and learned as I proceeded, as it usually is with these things.

And thanks a lot to you too, it means a lot. It was fun being part of this, amid works as beautiful as yours!

Incredible work, and great workflow documentation. Itā€™s a beautiful scene to explore! I really like the additional assets and details you added, like

Spoiler!

the mini Trojan horse,

the aspis, and the trash barrel with wood planks and bricks in the corner.

The turtle, rabbit, and speech bubble worked a lot better in 3D than Iā€™d expected. They fit the original style very well. Being able to move around the viewport helps the visibility of the bubble, and gives the characters a sense of location, making them look more balanced.

Thank you, and thank you for the feedback you gave me, it really motivated me to do more

I had originally also created a Corinthian helmet, for a direct Achilles reference, but I wasnā€™t happy with it, I wasnā€™t sure were to place it! In the end, I thought the

horse
and the aspis could do

The plot thickens! This must be where Epeius bought the first design prototypeā€¦

But seriously, this was a really fun easter egg to find. It was subtle enough that I didnā€™t notice it at first glance, but it was really satisfying when I found it. And the aspis was also a cool addition to the scene.

Hey! Just a quick reminder that thereā€™s now less than 12 ours remaining to wrap up your challenge entry - submissions close at 2022-09-15T21:59:00Z, GMT+1 (click on the link for some international times).

If you havenā€™t done so already, please review this post which contains some essential information for preparing your submission.

At the very least, upload your work to Sketchfab as soon as possible and add the #bcon22challenge tag.

Itā€™s also a good idea to add a link to your WIP topic in the description of your Sketchfab model so we can easily find it.

Iā€™ll also keep a close eye on the FAQ topic today, so if you have any issues or questions please post it there as soon as possible.

Good luck!
