Convair B-58 Hustler

Very nice work mrys! Another great thread you have produced here. Can’t wait to see this finished.

where do you get your reference images from?

I always wonder where you get the reference’s for the planes you model. Do you live next to a museum or something?

Ha, ha, ha! No! Whole undercarriage is reconstructed based on photographs found in net and in few books I have.

There you go Blenderizer… If anyone knows how to have multiple named quotes in one message please PM me and tell me…

Next update: texturing in progress:

Wow… Cant open the attached image though, comes up with some weird web hosting site… Is anyone else having that problem?

Hmmm… In fact image is not “attached” but “embedded” in post - link lead only to storage site.

I was working on textures and shaders, and think, that effect is more interesting now.

Spectacular…but what do you do with all those seats and things that you showed before?

Cor this is one thread I’ve been following and following …

I’ve checked out your other WIP’s, awesome skill and patience! I’m working on an Antonov 225, and you’ve inspired me to go for more detail, though not anywhere near your level

Very nice job. I’m in awe, but not overly surprised, as you always seem to be really good at texturing in detail…

BTW you need to update your signature, you’ve got a new WIP to add!

Mrys,

I love the detail you put in your work. It would be great if you could (or had the time to) explain how you do your textures. You obviously have good insight in it. You make it look so realistic. Great job!! You definitely inspire me to learn and practice more.

Thanks,
JJYoder
