DecalMachine ModuleNotFoundError

Hi everyone
I’m using blender 3.1 and I’m trying to use Decal Machine 2.9.1, After installation when I Try to activate the add-on an error pops up saying

“Traceback (most recent call last):
File"D:.…\Blender\3.1\scripts\modules\addon_utils.py”, line 351, in enable mod=import(module_name)
ModuleNotFoundError: no module name ‘Blender+Market±+Decal+machine+2’

What should I do to fix this?

as i can see the blendermarket page clearly says:

DECALmachine 2.9 works with Blender 3.6-4.0!

…so if you may have to use some older version… and may have to contact the author…
