High res of the base of the Tower of Art
Amazing work bruh.
This is great! The style of the buildings reminds me of the environments from the boxtrolls
The tower looks outstanding Monk. Just glad I don’t have to climb those stairs
Cheers Harley
It has 8888 steps. Glad i don’t need to model them.
Starting to get to the end. Creating the edges of my model now. Test on the water.

Terrific job! The water could look way, WAY more poluted though… Full of random objects and… stuff… one wouldn’t like to see up close.
You’re going strong. This is going to be a great tribute to the Disk World!
Cheers
When i decided to have the ‘chopped off’ look for anything that overlaps the edges of the model, i didn’t think about this pesky tiles… I could have made the roof parallel to the edge, but that would be cheating…
Prize to anyone who can guess how long it took to create this minor detail… (clue: it was too long)
Onto the Square out the front of the building. Thinking of a market.

I wonder even HOW you did it? Did you use the bisect tool in any way for it?
Cheers Minoribus.
As for how… Every. single. tile… by hand… Scale - Y axis - 0. If someone knows a better way i would be interested to hear, but i will not be held responsible for my actions
Been having some fun with the market place. Here are a couple of stalls. Rendering a better res version as i type.
You can buy: Oranges, Apples (Green and red), loaves of bread, Small beige disc things, fish (Green and blue) and what looks like lumps of coal. ‘Sator Square: Home of all your shopping needs!’
ASIDE: Minoribus: ever since i fist typed your name on this forum (at least 2-3 years ago now) my computer has always autocorrected it to Minibus. As i diligently re-corrected it this time, it got me wondering; What does your name mean? Where did it come from?

Hi Monk
Been throught the whole thread like a kid in a candy store, really nice work you got going here.
Shaun
No bananas? The librarian must be hungry… :eyebrowlift2:
MeshMonkey, you make a very good point; i don’t want to anger the Librarian. So here are some bananas complete with his own express delivery service.
