All future uploads will be the age-of-sail. There is no precise date as sailing vessels were used up to early 20th century. This way I can use OpenStreet map to get most of the details. Although the limit will still be 5 megabyte, as with all my routes. This way also I might animate some of them with vessel movements in the docks, ports, harbours. As always relevant discussion most welcome but not crtitique. Finally use strictly as your own risk. Future routes, dates and descriptions, etc mght be part approximate or some guesswork, etc. Many docks have now been turned into yachting marinas so moden type docks will not be included if possible. If very old the docks must be still functional and not half submerged or fully submerged in the mud, with shape too difficult to guess, etc.

Progressing nicely and as the current routes are already made up to Lands’End they just need minor adjustments for now. As regards textures I will carry on using my own photos for the terrain sand, sand and grass, rock and grass, etc. I have about 4 sailing vessels, sailing flat, sloop main and jib, schooner 2 main sails and 2 mainsail and jib. Also small paddle steamer but needs sail making again for it. The early paddle steamers had sail as well. Of course these types of routes can never be completed as the maritme scene is constantly changing. The current weather in the UK is a an example with rivers bursting their banks, etc. So far I think the Liverpool docks of c1800 is a masterpiece all within 5 meg, page 77 and 78 (smile). B
