It looks more dragonish when it’s stomping something, too. The feet probably help. Arms and skin probably would too. I’m currently seeing the “bob the dinosaur” of dragons, but that’s probably just because I’m re-reading another random dilbert book at the moment …
Shouldn’t he either have arms, or slightly larger wings so that he can pick things up (Sheep, Peasants, Bunches of Daffodils et. al.).
I remember reading a story about dragons a long time ago that suggested that they mix chemicals in their stomach to release hydrogen that provides both buoyancy and fuel for fire breath. In this case, the wings were merely for propulsion and guidance, not lift, so they could be nicely small. (They were always grumpy from perpetual gas though!)
This might be the most replies I got for a topic started, thanks for all the comments.
BTW, that cyborg thing… it’s was just a joke, hope Mr. Cyborg didn’t get offend (if so, sorry.)
If you can take this to completion, you’re on a winner. He’s great! If there was a star rater thing here I’d give it five.
The only thing I’d add a this stage is the stereotypical arrow-head tail (caricatures have to mess with the stuff we know and we all know dragons have arrow-head tails). Other than that, it’s all looking good for a model with so few polys.
EDIT: There is a star rater so I voted. I only gave it 4 stars though because I think the loopology might need some tweaking - plus I wanted to give you something to aim for
Don’t worry, after a long talk with father and finding flaws in the belief that one is a Dragon when compared to other cults and the bible I think I’ve finally been talked out of it.
That does really good calvin, and yes it does look like a dragon. Although i think theres to much space on the belly area and some little arms could help break it up. But then it might get confused with a dinosaur so its hard to judge what to do.
What you’ve got so far i like a lot and seems to work well.
