Dragon (Blender Animation)

Hey guys! I posted my Dragon model some time ago and now I have some new more cinematic screenshots for you inclusiv the final animation. I used Blender, Substance Painter and After Effects.

And here comes the animation, watch with sound

Nice day and happy blending for everyone!

Impressive :grinning:

I’m currently reading a Robin Hobb book based on dragons and this reminds me of that.

WOW! How long did it take you to do it?

I would say around 160 hours of work

It took you a while, but it really paid off. The movements look natural and the drool effects are insane.

Some of the best creature animation posted on this forum in a while for sure.

Great work! Lots of detail and atmosphere.
It shows the amount of work you put into it. :+1:t2:

There’s one little thing that bothers me in the animation, and that’s the point when the dragon (he/she?) is getting up.
The left leg is moved away just a tad too quickly, it makes the upper body feel a bit floating at that moment.

But again, great work, and there’s some Quixel assets in the scene if I’m correct?
