Years ago (in Maya + Mental Ray), I made egg tarts using mostly hand painted textures.
For some reason or another, I wanted to revisit this using procedural textures - so I can make a tray of them.
And the proverbial snowball started rolling, “I can proceduralize egg tarts, what about coconut tarts… pineapple buns…”
2 months later, we have a faux ad just for nostalgia’s sake.
All 3D stuff made in Blender. All textures procedural, except for things with letters on them. Making the floor tiles was a worthy mention in learning mathematical patterns…
