Edward Scissorhands

Hello 3d community,

I really enjoyed modeling this scene of a stylized Edward Scissorhands. I was inspired by a great drawer named Seb Mesnard. Hope you’ll like it

Nice one!
If I can give you some critique thou I would suggest to soften up the sun lamp quite a bit, maybe somewhere at 50-100 degrees, then it would have more of a bit darker feeling just like in the movie and also your reference. Maybe bump up the bump on the walls as well

Thank you very much fo those kind words :relaxed:

Great shaders. The hair seems a skosh shiny, though. Didn’t notice the bird at first. Might consider a darker blue, the color doesn’t fit IMO.

You chose a good reference and I like that you weren’t anal about it. You improved it in a number of ways.

Oh thank you one more time :grinning:

Thanks a lot for your nice comment :grinning:

Considering the bird I wanted an opposition between the dark side of the scene, character and the blue bird who is a symbol of hapiness. So I think I should have made it a brighter blue so that it is more eye catching.

Cool. another suggestion might be to backdrop it with the darker backing somehow.

I see what you mean

it is a very nice picture.
but can you explain why you linked it to the category “Exterior Architecture” ?
Why don’t you choose the “characters” category ?

Thank you  I also used #Characters, but it was selected in #exteriorarchitecture.
