This was pretty simple and straightforward in terms of modeling. Arguably the most difficult part was when I tried to be clever and merge the hilt, handle, and pommel into one mesh, believing I could fake the separation during the texturing stage (I failed and ended up having to separate the pieces again.)
The Estoc may be the last model I texture entirely in Blender; I finally purchased Substance Painter 2024 before the new year, so hopefully I can leverage that to help push the realism and quality of my models to the next level.
