Don’t know why, but I always find it funny when people other than the original thread creator post replys to threads that have long since vanished in a sea of new threads. I see the new post in my inbox and I imedietly think new sky maps have been added. Nope.

I feel silly asking, but could we get some that are lower resolution?

I have a slow connection, and these are much bigger than I need.

moved thread to blender general and made it sticky, these are hard to find and quite useful, although not news and chat anymore.

I think that it’s still the best free tool for that moment.
For fast output previews quite good is panorama.jar.

edit: ok i fixed that. use angular map only and blend and hori now.it looks good now

Ok. For the angularmaps the worldbuttons you need active are:

Real, Angmap and Hori

For the spheremaps the settings are:

Real, sphere and Hori
