I’ve always love the game engine, that’s what made me download blender. Once I discovered it’s rendering uses I was giving copies to everyone. I went so far to have a class in a high school use it as a regular application and offer training on the tool for credits. A very powerful tool that get’s better to use every day.
Corey your only 16 I thought you where like 19-20! Man was I off!

blender works created: about 20 projects but unrealeased except in my close inner circles. I may just release them here, but in need of a decent free use server to host my stuff…
Job: no job, but own my own biz
Interests: Building motorized vehicles, prototyping inventions, experimental rocket engine prototyping…bla bla
What I use Blender for: Games, protoyping, website integration, etc…
My thoughts about Blender: Blender is capable of doing professional work for sale and distribution if done in a well run and managed circle that can devote time and effort into an actual finished product. The software is very easy to use… I am greatful that atleast some people can develope prototyping software that can be free, small to download, and yet extreamly powerful…
I’m disapointed in Blender, I would like to see more talk about enhancements and rendering speeds for lowerend systems, I would like to see Blenders developers to tweak possibly not just to the highend systems, but also to the general populus who still use lowerend models without any graphics cards (300-600mhz,) can this be done? I would also like to see more work done on lighting and more efficient ways of displaying textures in the real time engine.
But rather than ‘rag’ on the brilliant minds behind Blender and other various project organizers and other contributors I still applaud and use the software because I believe in it! The people behind the software have made it extreamly easy to use and very effective in layout for key elements.
Get an older version or cope with the fact that it takes a lot of power to render raytraced images with all of the options Blender gives. It’s actually pretty fast, a lot faster and more keyed to low-end systems than other 3d progs.

Goal: To use 3d gaming as an aid in delivering science to students.
To commercialise the gaming/learning system in November 2005 (currently about halfway there).
Blender Philosophy: Commercial quality applications can be made with Blender, just need to be professional in your approach - at the end of the day its not about the eye candy (which can be very good though), its about gameplay.

Years in Blender: How long has it been now? I’ve used blender since the first windows version, whenever that was. It’s been a loooong time and a big part of my life.
Projects in blender: I have made many, back in the “good old days” I made many cool techdemos, mechwarrior, a space flying game, a dinosaur mmorpg (lol didn’t get far on that one), Zelda, pooland (awesome farming game), and lots of python tests for doing things, such as morphin meshes, menus, etc. Oh I made a racing game once and I spent so much time on the ai it looked really ugly. And the ai was terrible.
Anyway I get the most out of blender not when I am using it myself, but when I am helping others.
I’m currently working on Crescent Dawn, a horror contest entry, and I might pick up one of my older projects as well if I have time (which I wont).
