Spent the weekend making some fan art of Godzilla, specifically something to hang on my wall
Used some techniques that I developed for my Frock render (Frocky the rocky frog | Project breakdown) since that frog kinda looks like Godzilla to begin with. And I guess it’s kind of connected to the evolution stages of Shin Godzilla since he starts off as a tadpole in that one!
Due to how everything in my scene was set up it was very quick to transfer the mesh effects from the orignal Godzilla model to the new one so most of the effort was put into modifying the material to add the glowing plates effect and moving the tail into a cinematic position
