just found another small shortcut “problem” in boxcutter
i like the shift-alt mmb orient view feature … the thing is that it also orients the view when i click ctrl-shift-alt mmb which i’ve set to mark bevel edges.
does anyone have a workaround for this?

does maybe anyone know how to get in contact with the boxcutter coder?
i’d like to modify the hotkeys slightly since they conflict with my own and i dont want to exit box cutter everytime :slight_smile:

we’ll see in the next update or if it is possible.

ctrl-shift-alt mmb is a pretty crazy hotkey.

not much crazier than shift alt mmb for orienting the view :wink:

i ran out of hotkeys which were easy to reach with my left hand so i chose mouse buttons in combination with modifier keys ^^

Hello, I am just learning about hard surface modeling and am finding a lot of use with Hardops. Am I tripping, or is there no way to undo a boolean? I swore I thought I seen a way to undo your bools and even rebool… I can’t find anything about it now… Any idea?

i just leave it here - it is fun to see how hardops “change game”

bevel/boolean awareness has created some interesting things withing our own community as well.

I think after it all clears we will be using completely different workflows than when we first started which is always exciting. Problems I thought couldn’t be solved find their solutions eventually.

hi, modifier tools is in Blender from 2.78 onwards, it is a handy tool, feel free to reuse if you like.
It’s quite simple in the form I made for Blender. it can easily be extended to include more tools such as show/hide modifier by type, select modifier by type and set all subsurf levels for example.

i’ll look into it. we’re prepping a release for this week or when 2.79 drops so it might come at a later time.

Found myself in Blender 3d 2.78 c Hard Ops 9 Radium (version V-2 0.0.9.2) got to it suggested Addons Box Cutter 6.5 Symcut (version 0.6.5) ; MiraTools ; Auto Mirror ; DECALmachine (not yet installed) and everything went down the drain, continuous error messages, not deleted and not reinstalled. The problem is clearly in the Box Cutter 6.5 Symcut, but how to solve I do not know, and in Hard Ops 9 no Box Cutter is nothing to do, can that advise.

HardOps 0093 has been released. It is a small update to fix things with 2.79
