How can I animate this coil spring realistically

I am trying to animate this coil spring as shown in this video below:

But the spring also has a deformed extension that doesn’t spring as shown here:

I Tried following my thread here but it doesn’t work.

First check the video I posted. The coil moves quite differently. I have also mentioned a better yet incomplete solution in the question on Blender stackexchange. And that question also has the link of the question you posted included.

Basically, that animation is wrong.
