I saw your post about this in your other thread here, but I’ll answer this question in this post.
The simple answer is you can’t. Shapekeys simply move vertices from point A to point B in a straight line. When the shapekey is at 0, all vertices are at point A, the starting point. When the shapekey is at 1, all vertices are at point B. There is no adjusting of vertices at a shapekey value of 0.5.
What you can do is create 2 shapekeys, one for ‘m’ shape and one for ‘a’ shape and control them from the same bone. Move the bone to 0.5 and shapekey A is set to 1. Move the bone to 1 and shapekey A is set to 0, shapekey M is set to 1.
