Little game, this is AI edited in photoshop, can anyone spot what is AI? It is pretty convincing.
Working on a crashed spaceship scene, still texturing to do, and I think I will change the camera angle. Also need to rotate it so the bit of wing isn’t poking out of the ground.
Ooh, looks interesting!
Looking forward to see where you take the planet ;D
Some workshop renders of a control deck for my spaceship I am working on:
Still a lot to go, and I haven’t even started texturing, but here is what I have so far.
When stranded you need the starlight SMG, it shoots with the power of star fission and is your go to survival gun on if stranded on a planet (Hint, hint)
Just kidding, experiments in stylization
Thank you very much! Here is an update to my control panel:
No textures yet, those will be a nightmare but procrastinating by making isometric panels is fun
Your spaceship is going along nicely, if you’re interested in adding more mesh detail, I recommend looking up kitbashing kits like this one, I must say I haven’t used it yet, but it has good models which I’m planning on using for an upcoming project
Yeah, thank you, I just don’t want to turn to the dark side of kitbashing everything!
Excellent point XD
A couple more panels have been made, plus I started the gargantuan task of texturing, I am going for an abandoned sort of feel, so worn paint and such, so I am trying to show small details of what the spaceship would have looked like and such, I encourage you to stop in the video and try to take a closer look at each of the textures and provide feedback, I really need it because I hope to make a photorealistic final animation, but here is what I have so far:
I really want to thank everyone here for supporting me in my blender journey. Sorry for the long talk, just really need some more eyes on possibly how to improve my work.
I like the glowy red bits. Are the (I’m assuming) metal bits procedural textures? To me, they look like a noise texture fed through a color ramp. If they are, it’s not necessarily a bad starting point, but if you want to continue with procedural textures there are tutorials that can give a decent starting point for scratched/rusty/worn paint metal to help sell that abandoned look.
Nice panels! You’re good at filling those spaces in.
Yeah, it works suprisingly well, but do you like the faded paint texture on the diamond ish panels? I worked pretty hard on a faded paint paint texture, but thanks for the feedback, any tutorials you recommend?
Thank you! Yeah, ever need to procrastinate, make isometric panels by beveling things that chouldn’t be beveled.

This playlist has a few metal tutorials I’ve used. You may have to scroll a bit, I think they’re towards the bottom. They’re done in cycles, and IIRC you use Eevee, but maybe they can give some ideas, if they don’t directly translate.
The red orange bits in the grooves on the gold tinted panel? I do like those.
Oh thanks, they are supposed to be like malfunctioning lights or something like that!
Welcome Back
