Krum - Battle Arena

Modeling artists. Most that are working on their projects are programmers and they are using mostly Unity and some Unreal. Noone even knows Blender had an engine.

Well I’ll put it this way -
My TODO list is 1110 lines of tasks. Currently I’m on 973rd line.
And that’s until early access “build” is ready to launch.
The bad news is that a few of those last 130 lines are actually huge tasks.
The good news are that there are still only 130 lines left

My very rough guess is for early access to be available on Steam around May - June.
That’s “the good” scenario.

P.S. Just for the record - my next game will be TJ like - small, cute and with fast dev cycle.

Well my TODO List is abt 8000 lines im fighting to break it down step by step but progressing slowly on my side so far since my PC bleww (Otherwise the planned monthly content should roll to keep viewers waiting patiently and will start posting live devlog updates soon as i get my new pc) !!!

Otherwise all the best and im looking forward towards the 1st release

The website is really nice. I was a bit surprise that its gonna be a free to play. Have you put in place a system where players can support you financially?

Hey, thanks.
I have a few simple ideas how players would be able to support the game but haven’t started to work on them yet.

Wish you all the best. You really deserve it

@haidme so how is the email sign-up process work once you sign-up?
Do you get an instant bot email from haidme studios to verify it or is it for communicating with you directly?

Sign up is for getting an e-mail with a key for the beta, once it’s out.
I’ll sent mass e-mail with generated Steam key to every signed up participant.

Are you allowed to use BGE for commercial purpose ?
Because Blender is part of your game distribution and it’s not MIT or a commercial license.

Could someone explain me BGE Licensing ?
It’s not MIT and there is no commercial license agreement.

Oh, please! You can even sell Blender itself commercially if you want.
Use google search and also read the Blender GPL license for details. There is more than enough info about this matter.

go home and make a game !!!

Good point.

Why there is almost no commercial Blender games except very few ones ?
Perhaps UPBGE was too obsolete and needed to catch with current graphics, or perhaps because Blender UI was awfull before 2.80 upgrade ?

BTW you got a really nice game, and it’s very polished, it looks like it was a company production.

Testing Krum on a low-end devices - Dell tablet with integrated intel HD video.
This test should answer most questions about game performance

Good optimization. That means it’s sure to run on my laptop

Logic-wise it is optimized as much as I was able to. However, as most of the games out there lowering the resolution is what makes the biggest difference. On this tablet I set it to 1366x768.
