libmv should easily be able to match that. i hope keir and pau didn’t abandon it. they got an email wanting them to move from flens to elgin so maybe they are trying to help out a felow google coder by being his killer app. it was going verry quickly until the 14th when everything just stopped.
and it’ll do more than just composting. play a video clip in it and it will generate a textured dense model. you could even use it as a poor mans scanner, just put alot of dots on an object, film it slowly spinning and it would build the model for you so even a gumby could easily be done. rig it, keyframe it, and render it.
how do you know they even did that in a 3d program?

BLENDER isnt just a 3d modeling program but its also a video editing program too
funny, I did something like this a couple of years ago (don’t remember where I put the video). Anyways, there’s nothing technical preventing us from doing something like that, just need skill. Probably more than mine though…
