After Conwy we come to the Menai Straits and the island of Anglesey North Wales. Very large route about 46km.

My aim now is to continue again, working along the coastline which started from the Solway Firth and now up to North Wales , started from the Solway Firth on the border of Scotland. Routes will be basic initially and version 1. I would like to reach The Thames Estuary but it will take a long time. After that I would like to consider revisiting some of the made routes and see what they would need to make a version two. Example there are about 6 castles need making. Flint, Rhuddlan, Conway (again), Beamaris, Caernarvon, Harlech These are not updates as such, as each route is seperate in itself, as I have no idea until I start what the the different versions will look like. I would like to make a sailing barge which is different to the sailing-flats. Sailing flats were used in the Northwest and Mersey. Sailing barges on the Thames.

If you wish you can have a scenario in a made route collect crew or cargo etc. However as they all take time I will only make scenarios by request, and will then consider them.
All routes of course are free. Terms are simple ā€˜use at your own riskā€™ and ā€˜not for commercial useā€™.

The place name of a route is only to enable the approximate position of the route. There may be several places on any one route, some might not have a harbour or dock. About a dozen more and that will take the routes around to Landsā€™ End at the tip of Cornwall.

Then to progress any further along the South Coast towards the Thames will depend if I can make a suitable route from greyscale using srtm2 and 3DEM.

The script I used to use has been changed. I think possibly the best option end at Landsā€™ End as all the routes are already made up to Landsā€™End and start on Scotlandā€™s coastline. The made route of Dumfries starts that.

I think I will keep all the routes to the West coast of the UK
and at the same time starting on the version 2 series of single selected routes. B
