After finishing my mi-24 ‘hind’ project, I wanted to have a go at another mil helicopter, with even more detail.

Will have to take a break from this for a while as I am spending 4 days without a pc - after that I will finish off the cockpit and move on to the hull windows…

finished all the cockpit windows - not worth a screenshot but I am now starting on the fuselage windows.

The front looks wrong when compared to this:

Also the lighting around the side “bumper” is messed up. You might want to smooth it out with some very tight edge loops.

What you are looking at there is the mi-17 hip H, what I am modelling is the mi-8 (they are slightly different)
Thank you for going to the effort of finding reference images however - I will be using this image to model the weapon pylons!
